“An Amazing Adventure!”

Not many things in life make me speechless, with an  occasional “Wow!” Nevertheless, without hesitation, the trip my daughter took me on did just that! As an extension of my 70th birthday celebration, my daughter took me on “An Amazing Adventure!” We went to the Grand Canyon and beyond. Despite the many pictures of the Grand Canyon, none compare to what the eye beholds. I have desired to see the Grand Canyon for many years, and it finally came to fruition. Let me tell you, a relationship with God and a lovely daughter yield so many extraordinary benefits. God will allow others to help us fulfill our dreams.

Most importantly, life is short and fleeting right before our eyes. Therefore, I encourage you to make the most of each day of your life. Don’t put off today what you can enjoy today. Make full use of God’s promises in your life. Turn away from fear and worry and submit all things unto God’s will. Hence knowing what He has for you can produce “An Amazing Adventure!” So much awaits us if we allow ourselves to walk through the doors God opens for us. The vastness of the Grand Canyon is mind-blowing and gave me a greater appreciation of our beautiful country and the glory of God.

As I conclude, I thank God for the beautiful, loving, kind, generous, and unselfish daughter He gave me. My daughter flawlessly did every planning detail of my trip and allowed me to invite someone else. I just wanted to share with you the goodness of God in my life. If opportunity allows, visit Arizona, the Grand Canyon, Horse Shoe Bend, and Antelope Canyon, to mention a few spots. All I can say is it is “An Amazing Adventure!” You will not regret it! And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. Ecclesiastes 3:13. I’ll be back next week with a new post, “Won’t He Do It!”

Be encouraged, and God bless,

Sister Jackie

Love it… very encouraging words to step out on faith and not be hindered in fear. We can miss out on a lot in life and later have regrets about it.

It is easy to plan an Amazing Adventure when you have an amazing mother who sacrificed so much for you! Our country is beautiful and as you exclaimed at the Grand Canyon – who did it? GOD did it!!

Ready for our next adventure?? 🙂
