“Almost There, But Not Yet!”

2025 is winding down and soon to depart. Oh, how time flies and waits for no one! Although it is three days until a new year, we are “Almost There, But Not Yet!” It is our sincere prayer that God allows us to see His glory in a new year. We personally have no control over our lives, but the promises of God are yea and amen! We cannot leave our earthly life until God’s promises come into fruition in our lives. Isn’t that a tremendous blessing? So, as the year draws to an end, let us not take anything for granted, but cast our cares on Him.

More importantly, this is a great time to reflect on our lives and all God’s provisions, protection, healings, salvation, and more. As our thoughts draw to the goodness of God, our praises must come forth. Had it not been for the Lord on our side, where would we be? I cannot imagine! Hence, as Thanksgiving is a time of thankfulness, so is this season in times like these. We are “Almost There, But Not Yet!” There is still time to get our house in order before our last breath. Nevertheless, we must not put off ensuring that we are in the right relationship with our Savior. It’s all about the relationship!

Lastly, I am always in remembrance of something my mother would say as the year drew to an end. “Every year carries a number.” Assuredly, that is so true. Almost daily, we learn that someone is with the Lord or passed away. Another way to look at these last few days is that someone will be in the number count to make it to the next year. I believe that is the number everyone desires to rank in. God willing, the next post you receive from me will contain New Year greetings. Blessings, everyone, and I thank God for you! We are “Almost There, But Not Yet!” Watch therefore:for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 24:42. I’ll return next week with a new post, “Be the Light!”

Be encouraged, and God bless!
